It was such a fun day because Justin took the entire day off work...practically unheard of around this house! The girls were so excited to have Daddy home all day and to decorate for his "party". Brooklyn typically wakes up every morning and the first thing she asks is, "Daddy home?" Today, when I said "Yes" she threw her arms up in the air and yelled "YEAH!!" It was so cute!
We started the day off going to breakfast at Kneaders and the girls actually ate their pancakes!!! (A birthday present in and of itself!) Then Justin went to get a massage while the girls and I went home to wrap presents and decorate. It was such nice weather that we all went to Discovery Park to play before heading off to Outback for dinner. We wrapped up the entire celebration by having both sides of our families over for presents, cake & ice cream.
(Let me explain...this was probably Justin's favorite b-day present. Taylor loves practicing spelling things, but just wants us to tell her what letter is next if she doesn't already know. She has been practicing her name and mostly just her first and last name...which is quite the accomplishment with a last name like ours. Well, she wanted to put her name on her "to go" box and decided to add her middle name, "DAWN" to the mix and she got her "W" and "M" a little mixed up. Justin couldn't stop laughing and had to document the moment.)
(Of course, the girls had to get in on blowing the candles out...daddy probably needed the help! j/k)
Happy Birthday Justin!! We love you!!!

I'm so glad that Justin could have the day off. Making memories is SO important and it's great that you can all do things together like that. Hope you ALL have a wonderful year:-)
Happy birthday, Justin! Such a baby still. It's hard to believe it was a nice day out and you went to the park. I've already forgotten those warm days. Baaaaaaaaa!
That sounds like a fabulous birthday! What a great decision to take off work! It should be a federal law that nobody has to work on their birthday! That could be the government's present to us. Happy Birthday Justin!
