The Rohatinsky Family: Mickey's Halloween Party

This Halloween Party was SO much FUN!!! Seriously, I had heard it was fun, but I was a little nervous that it wouldn't be worth the cost of the "extra" tickets, especially since Taylor doesn't even like candy. But wow...highly recommended.

1. The park closes early to all other guests and is only open to those attending the party. So it is way less crowded and they still keep a lot of fun rides open, which basically turned out to mean NO lines!! It was great! But that is not all!

2. All the candy one could want...and then some! Brooklyn and Paityn (not to mention Justin) were in heaven. They had like six different "trick-or-treating" stations set up throughout the park. You would just enter and there were multiple spots in each station where they gave you candy (or healthy snacks like raisins & apple slices). We only went to about 3 or 4 of the stations and had more candy than we needed.

3. Multiple spots where you could go meet some of the characters (who were all dressed up in costumes).

4. There was also a fun Halloween parade and a great fireworks show (even though all 3 of the girls were SO wiped out by the time the fireworks started that they were all in deep sleep. Honestly, we tried to wake them and they were not even flinching!)

5. All of it was great...but our families favorite part was the actual Halloween Party with dancing, a DJ, and lots of the Toy Story Characters. My girls had SO much fun dancing to songs they knew from their Kids Bop CD's with the characters. They were loving it!

At first the girls were nervous around the "Army" Guys from Toy Story or "Green Guys" as my girls called them. But they warmed up to them as they were singing and dancing with all the kids.

We were having such a good time that Justin & I even let the girls talk us into waiting in line for the Disney Princess'. In all our previous trips to Disneyland we have never gone to this because the line is always way TOO long! We always just go to some of the character meals so we get to see the Princess' with out waiting! Silly us...we actually thought that since there were way less people in the park & no lines on the actual rides this line wouldn't be so bad. WRONG! Turns out the Princess' are AlwAys popular. The good news is that there were lots of adult couples in line dressed up as Princess' & their particular Prince. So my girls thought it was great.
